PRIME VIDEO's THE WHEEL OF TIME
- Olivia Williams, Luke Fetherston, Callum Kerr and Nuno Lopes have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming third season. Williams currently stars in HBO's Dune: Prophecy, which concludes its first season on Sunday. Fetherston currently stars in Channel 4's Big Mood, which debuted its first season earlier this year. Kerr starred for two years in the British soap opera Hollyoaks. Lopes starred in Netflix's one-season drama White Lines.
- Williams will play Morgase Trakand, the Queen of Andor. She did not inherit her throne. Rather, when the succession was left without an heir, she waged a brutal war against a half-dozen noble rivals, and thanks to her political savvy and utter ruthlessness, she won. She has sworn ever since to shield her daughter and heir, Elayne (Ceara Coveney), from ever having to endure what she did... and do what she did. But far from being a tyrant, Morgase has become one of the best queens Andor has ever known.
- Fetherston will play Lord Gawyn of House Trakand, a royal prince of Andor and brother to Galad and Elayne. He is a skilled fighter, famously handsome and protective of his younger sister.
- Kerr will play Lord Galad of House Trakand, a royal prince of Andor and older brother to Gawyn and Elayne. Despite being the first born, he is not the heir to the throne. Andor is a matriarchy, and so the role of heir falls to his younger sister.
- Lopes will play Lord Gaebril, Queen Morgase's male consort. Both her lover and adviser, he assists in overseeing matters political and military. Andor is a matriarchal society, and so his power and influence, though vast, are always second to that of his Queen, to whom his loyalties and services are sworn.
NETFLIX's LEANNE
- Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes, Ryan Stiles, Celia Weston and Blake Clark will co-star on the upcoming comedy co-created by and starring Leanne Morgan. Rogers previously starred for three seasons in Showtime's Ray Donovan and recurred on Netflix's Atypical. Pilkes appeared in the film Molli and Max in the Future. Stiles has appeared in all 21 seasons of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, currently airing on The CW. Weston starred for five seasons in CBS' Alice and two seasons in TNT's Memphis Beat. Clark recurred on ABC's Home Improvement, ABC's Boy Meets World and CBS' United States of Al.
- Rogers will play Tyler, Leanne's (Morgan) son, her pride and joy. A new dad who's cowed by his dominating wife, he has the pressures that come with starting your own family while at the same time trying to navigate how to walk through the unexpected demise of his parents' marriage.
- Pilkes will play Josie, Leanne's daughter, the complete opposite of Tyler. A partier, a rule breaker, a seeker of fun. In and out of jobs, in and out of relationships, she has always known her brother is the golden child, so she accepted her role as the rebel early on and never disappoints in fulfilling it.
- Stiles will play Bill, Leanne's ex-husband. Married to Leanne for 33 years, he built his RV business to provide a good life for his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and son-in-law, Bill always put family first... until now. Having just blown up his life by leaving Leanne for another woman, Bill, for the first time, has no idea what he's doing.
- Weston will play Mama Margaret, Leanne and Carol's (Kristen Johnston) mother and the matriarch of the family. A faithful member of the church and community, Mama always has a kind word and a glass-half-full attitude. She's fully prepared for death but will probably outlive them all.
- Clark will play Daddy John, Leanne and Carol's father. A bit old school when it comes to the roles of men and women. Strong, outspoken and would do anything for his family.
