Prime Video has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Clean Slate starring Laverne Cox and George Wallace.
All 8 episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, February 6.
The comedy follows Harry (Wallace), an old-school car wash owner in Alabama who has a lot of soul searching to do when the child he once called "son" returns after 17 years as a proud trans woman named Desiree (Cox). Her homecoming brings together a hilarious cast of friends, coworkers, and love interests as Desiree and Harry try to get it right the second time around.
In addition to Cox and Wallace, the comedy stars Telma Hopkins, D.K. Uzoukwu, Jay Wilkison and Norah Murphy.
Cox and Wallace co-created the comedy with Dan Ewen. They executive produce with the late Norman Lear, Brent Miller and Simran Baidwan. Amazon MGM Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Act III Productions produce.
