HBO has today renewed its original drama series Dune: Prophecy for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the first season finale debuting Sunday, December 22 at 9/8c.
The drama stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, Yerin Ha and Barbara Marten.
Alison Schapker and Diane Ademu-John co-developed the drama inspired by the novel "Sisterhood of Dune" by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Schapker, Ademu-John and Herbert executive produce with Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns, Jon Spaihts, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert and director Anna Foerster. Anderson serves as a co-producer. Legendary Television, Warner Bros. Television, Wandering Jew Productions and Herbert Properties produce.
