During the show's panel today at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, Prime Video announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of its original drama series Reacher.
The 8-episode third season will launch on Thursday, February 20 with its first three episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday until the season finale on March 27.
In the new season, Jack Reacher hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. There he finds a world of secrecy and violence - and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.
Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten will reprise their roles as Reacher and Frances Neagley, respectively. They will be joined by new cast members Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart and Olivier Richters.
Nick Santora developed the drama based on the novels by Lee Child. The showrunner and author executive produce with Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell. Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and CBS Studios produce.
The drama has already been renewed for a fourth season. Furthermore, the streamer has ordered a spinoff starring Sten.
