After releasing its first two episodes, Showtime has today renewed its original drama series The Agency for a second season. New episodes will continue to be available to stream on Paramount+ every Friday before their linear debuts on Showtime every Sunday.
The drama stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi and Richard Gere.
Guest stars in the first season include Dominic West, Hugh Bonneville, Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, David Harewood, Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK, Sabrina Wu and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.
Jez and John-Henry Butterworth developed the drama based on the French series The Bureau. They executive produce with Fassbender, Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Alex Berger, Ashley Stern, Pascal Breton and director Joe Wright. Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, Smokehouse Pictures, TOP - The Originals Productions and Federation Studios produce.
