ABC Renews 'High Potential' for Season 2

ABC has today renewed its original drama series High Potential for a second season. The series becomes the first scripted drama to join the broadcast network's upcoming 2025-26 schedule.

The drama stars Kaitlin Olson, Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb and Judy Reyes.

Drew Goddard developed the drama based on the French series HPI. He executive produces with showrunner Todd Harthan, Pierre Laugier, Anthony Lancret, Jean Nainchrik, Alethea Jones, Sarah Esberg and Victor Hsu. Olson serves as a producer. 20th Television, Taft Tennis and Goddard Textiles produce.

An episode count for the second season was not immediately announced. However, it will reportedly be larger than the first season, which consists of 13 episodes. Olson's commitment to her other series regular job on FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia limited the Season 1 order and prevented more episodes to be produced after its breakout in the fall.
