SHOWTIME's DEXTER: RESURRECTION
- Uma Thurman has joined the cast of the upcoming Dexter sequel starring Michael C. Hall. She received an Academy Award nomination in 1995 for her performance in Pulp Fiction and an Emmy Award nomination in 2012 for her guest role on NBC's Smash. She recently starred in Netflix's one-season drama Chambers, in AppleTV+'s one-season drama Suspicion and in the Showtime limited series Super Pumped.
- She will play Charley, the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, she worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.
CBS' FBI
- Emily Alabi has booked a recurring role on the drama's seventh season - with the option to become a series regular in Season 8. She previously recurred on Paramount+'s Joe Pickett, NBC's Magnum P.I. and CBS' S.W.A.T.
- She will play a new agent who is expected to become Stuart Scola's (John Boyd) new partner.
HBO's THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES
- Megan Mullally, Seann William Scott and Arden Myrin will guest star on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. Mullally previously starred for eleven seasons in NBC's Will & Grace, winning two Emmy Awards for her performance. Scott currently stars in ABC's Shifting Gears, which premiered earlier this month. Myrin starred for two seasons in Netflix's Insatiable.
- Mullally will play Lori Milsap, a long-time friend of the Gemstone family who used to write music and sing with Aimee-Leigh (Jennifer Nettles).
- Scott will play Corey Milsap, Lori's son who has been a family friend of the Gemstone kids for his entire life.
- Myrin will play Jana Milsap, Corey's wife.
TNT's DEBRIEFING THE PRESIDENT
- Rhona Mitra will play the female lead on the upcoming limited series starring Joel Kinnaman. She previously starred for two seasons in Cinemax's Strike Back and two seasons in TNT's The Last Ship. She also recurred on FX's The Strain and The CW's Supergirl.
- She will play Polly Stevens, a colleague of CIA analyst John Nixon (Kinnaman).
NETFLIX's RUN AWAY
- James Nesbitt and Minnie Driver will headline the upcoming limited series based on the novel by Harlan Coben. Nesbitt appeared in prior Coben adaptations Stay Close and Missing You on Netflix. Driver starred for two seasons in NBC's About a Boy, three seasons in ABC's Speechless and in the second season of Starz's The Serpent Queen.
- In the series, Simon (Nesbitt) had the perfect life: loving wife, Ingrid (Driver) and kids, great job, beautiful home. But then his eldest daughter Paige ran away and everything fell apart. So now when he finds her, vulnerable and strung out on drugs in a city park, he finally has the chance to bring his little girl home. But it turns out she's not alone, and an argument escalates into shocking violence. In the aftermath, Simon loses his daughter all over again, and his search to find her will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever.
- The series will also star Ruth Jones as Elena Ravenscroft; Alfred Enoch as Isaac Fagbenle, Lucian Msamati as Cornelius Faber; Jon Pointing as Ash; Ellie de Lange as Paige Greene; Adrian Greensmith as Sam Greene; Ellie Henry as Anya Greene; Tracy-Ann Oberman as Jessica Kinberg; Annette Badland as Lou; Ingrid Oliver as Yvonne; Maeve Courtier-Lilley as Dee Dee; Finty Williams as Enid Corval; Joe McGann as Wiley Corval; and Amy Gledhill as Ruby Todd.
