ABC's Shifting Gears; HBO's Lanterns; NBC's Happy's Place; Netflix's The Diplomat; and Peacock's The Miniature Wife.





NETFLIX's THE DIPLOMAT
  • A West Wing reunion will occur on the drama's upcoming third season. Bradley Whitford has booked a recurring role on the drama - which features Allison Janney. The duo starred together for all seven seasons in the NBC political drama. Janney won four Emmy Awards for her performance while Whitford was victorious once.
  • He will play the husband of Vice President Grace Penn (Janney). In the Season 2 finale, President William Rayburn (Michael McKean) dies unexpectedly, meaning Penn is now the U.S. President, making her husband the First Gentleman.
PEACOCK's THE MINIATURE WIFE
  • Zoe Lister-Jones and Sofia Rosinsky will co-star on the upcoming dramedy starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen. Lister-Jones previously starred for four seasons in CBS' Life in Pieces. Rosinsky starred in Prime Video's one-season drama Paper Girls.
  • No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
HBO's LANTERNS
  • Ulrich Thomsen has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre. He previously starred for four seasons in Cinemax's Banshee. He also recurred on NBC's The Blacklist, Starz's Counterpart and HBO's The Young Pope.
  • He will play Sinestro, a former Green Lantern who turned rogue and is ruthless yet undeniably charming. His manipulative nature drives his enduring obsession with his former mentee, Hal Jordan (Chandler). 
NBC's HAPPY'S PLACE
  • The comedy is staging another Reba reunion in its first season. Christopher Rich will appear in an upcoming episode as Maverick, a local tattoo artist that is very good at his job... as long as he's using his right hand. Rich previously starred for all six seasons in The WB/The CW's Reba opposite Happy's Place series regulars Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman.
  • Justina Machado has also been cast in a guest role today. She will play Maritza, Isabella's (Belissa Escobedo) mother. She is a self-made woman who put herself through law school as a single mom. She started a wildly successful law practice and does not suffer fools. Machado previously starred for four seasons in Netflix/Pop's One Day at a Time.
ABC's SHIFTING GEARS
  • Nancy Travis will reunite with her Last Man Standing co-star Tim Allen in an upcoming episode of his new sitcom. Allen and Travis previously portrayed husband and wife for all nine seasons of the ABC-turned-FOX sitcom.
  • She will play Charlotte, a spirited widow who connects with Matt (Allen).
