Netflix Shares Premiere Dates for 'Ginny & Georgia' and 'Survival of the Thickest'

During the Next on Netflix presentation today, the streamer announced the premiere dates for two of its original scripted series - the second season of comedy Survival of the Thickest and the third season of drama Ginny & Georgia.





All 8 episodes of the second season of Survival of the Thickest will be available on Thursday, March 27.

Black, plus-size, and looking for love while loving herself, Mavis Beaumont works hard to grow her brand and establish herself as a stylist of note. She's determined to not only survive but thrive with the support of her chosen family, a body-positive attitude, and a cute V-neck with some lip gloss.

The comedy stars Michelle Buteau, Tone Bell and Tasha Smith.

Buteau co-created the comedy with Danielle Sanchez-Witzel. They executive produce with showrunner Amy Aniobi, Grace Edwards and Anne Hong. A24, Mosaic and SanWitz Productions produce.

All 10 episodes of the third season of Ginny & Georgia will be available on Thursday, June 5.

Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding - ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It's always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove - is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?

The drama stars Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark and Nathan Mitchell.
