'Little House on the Prairie' Reboot Ordered to Series by Netflix

Netflix has today given a series order to the original drama series Little House on the Praise based on the novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The books were previously adapted as a TV series under the same name which aired for nine seasons on NBC from September 1974 to March 1983.





The drama will follow Charles, his wife Caroline and their daughters Laura and Mary as they leave Wisconsin to settle in Independence, Kansas.

Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys, Archive 81) developed the drama and will serve as showrunner on the first season. She will executive produce with Joy Gorman Wettels, Dana Fox, Susanna Fogel and Trip Friendly. CBS Studios, Anonymous Content, Joy Coalition and Friendly Family Productions will produce.
