Paramount+ has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Frasier after two seasons. However, production company CBS Studios is expected to shop the series to other outlets.
The comedy starred Kelsey Grammer, Jack Cutmore-Scott, Toks Olagundoye, Jess Salgueiro, Anders Keith and Nicholas Lyndhurst.
Despite being a revival of NBC's Frasier which aired for eleven seasons from 1993-2004, Grammer was the only actor who reprised his role as a series regular. However, several performers from the former show made guest appearances - including Bebe Neuwirth, Peri Gilpin, Dan Butler, Edward Hibbert and Harriet Sansom Harris.
Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli developed the series and served as showrunners. They also executive produced with Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. Grammnet NH Productions and Shiny Brass Lamp Productions produced in association with CBS Studios.
All 264 episodes of the original series are currently available to stream on Hulu, Paramount+ and Prime Video. However, the 20 episodes of the revival are only available on Paramount+.
