PEACOCK's THE GOOD DAUGHTER
- Brendan Gleeson and Harper Steele are set as series regulars on the upcoming limited series starring Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy. Meanwhile, Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman will appear in recurring roles. Gleeson was nominated for an Academy Award in 2022 for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin. Steele starred in the 2024 documentary film Will & Harper. Malcomson starred for three seasons in HBO's Deadwood and five seasons in Showtime's Ray Donovan. McDorman starred in the Peacock limited series Mrs. Davis and in the FX limited series Class of '09.
- Gleeson will play Rusty. Steele will play Lenore. Malcomson will play Judith. McDorman will play Mason aka Huck.
APPLE TV+'s STAR CITY
- Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis have been cast as series regulars on the upcoming For All Mankind spinoff starring Rhys Ifans and Anna Maxwell Martin. Nagaitis previously starred in the first season of AMC's The Terror and in the HBO limited series Chernobyl. Davies starred for two seasons in Netflix's Young Wallander. Serkis starred in the Netflix limited series The Letter for the King and in the Disney+ limited series Shardlake.
- Nagaitis will play Valya, a highly respected cosmonaut within the Soviet Space program.
- Davies will play Sergei, a young, brilliant engineer who works at Soviet Ground Control.
- Serkis will play Tanya, a cosmonaut's wife who struggles within the confined world of Star City.
HBO's UNTITLED STEVE CARELL COMEDY
- Danielle Deadwyler has joined the upcoming comedy starring Steve Carell, Charly Clive and Phil Dunster. She previously starred in the films Till, The Piano Lesson and Carry-On. She also recurred on Max's Station Eleven.
- She will play the head of the English Department at the liberal arts college, a professor of poetry, and a published writer who has instant rapport with Carell's character.
PEACOCK's POKER FACE
- Jason Ritter, Alia Shawkat, Carol Kane, David Krumholtz and Melanie Lynskey will guest star on the dramedy's upcoming second season. Ritter currently stars in CBS' Matlock, which has been renewed for a second season. Shawkat starred for five seasons in TBS/Max's Search Party and two seasons in FX's The Old Man. Kane starred for two seasons in ABC/NBC's Taxi, winning two Emmy Awards for her performance. Krumholtz starred for three seasons in HBO's The Deuce and in the HBO limited series The Plot Against America. Lynskey currently stars in Showtime's Yellowjackets, which began airing its third season last week.
