NBC has today renewed its original comedy series Happy's Place for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the comedy airing the 15th episode of its 18-episode first season tomorrow.
The comedy stars Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and Rex Linn.
Kevin Abbott created the comedy. He executive produces with McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry and Pamela Fryman. Universal Television, Acme Productions, RM Business Inc. and NestEgg Productions produce.
Happy's Place becomes the second comedy renewed by NBC for its upcoming 2025-26 season. It joins fellow freshman series St. Denis Medical. The network has not yet made a decision on the futures of Lopez vs. Lopez (which finished its third season earlier this month) and Night Court (which is currently airing its third season).
