Prime Video Renews 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' for Season 3

Prime Video has today renewed its original drama series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for a third season. Production will begin this spring in the United Kingdom.






The drama stars Charlie Vickers, Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Benjamin Walker, Daniel Weyman, Ciarán Hinds, Markella Kavenagh, Megan Richards, Charles Edwards, Sophia Nomvete, Owain Arthur, Peter Mullan, Lloyd Owen, Maxim Baldry, Trystan Gravelle, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Tyroe Muhafidin. 

J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay developed the drama and serve as showrunners. They executive produce with Lindsey Weber, Justin Doble, Kate Hazell and director Charlotte Brändström. Amazon MGM Studios and New Line Cinema produce.
