AppleTV+ Orders Drama 'The Dealer' Starring Jessica Chastain and Adam Driver

In a very competitive situation, AppleTV+ has landed the original drama series The Dealer starring Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain (The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Zero Dark Thirty) and Academy Award nominee Adam Driver (Marriage Story, BlacKkKlansman) with a straight-to-series order.

The drama is a biting exploration of power, class, seduction and culture set inside the glittering world of the high-end art market, told through the eyes of an aspiring super gallerist (Chastain) and the tangled relationship with her most gifted and unnerving artist (Driver).

Lucas Hnath created the drama. He will executive produce with Chastain, Driver, Sarah Lunnie, Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, Kelly Carmichael, Alan Poul and director Sam Gold. Arianna Anderson will serve as a co-executive producer. Media Res and Freckle Films will produce.
