SHOWTIME's DEXTER: RESURRECTION
- John Lithgow and Jimmy Smits will reprise their roles from Showtime's Dexter on its upcoming sequel series starring Michael C. Hall. Lithgow previously recurred throughout the drama's fourth season and guest starred on the New Blood follow-up. He won an Emmy Award for his performance. Smits recurred during the drama's third season. He received an Emmy Award nomination for his role.
- Lithgow plays Arthur Mitchell aka the "Trinity Killer," a serial killer who presented himself as an unassuming church deacon, high school teacher and family man. He was killed by Dexter Morgan (Hall) in the Season 4 finale only to discover Mitchell had already murdered his wife, Ritz (Julie Benz). The traumatic death of his mother informed Harrison's (Jack Alcott) homicidal urges in New Blood.
- Smits plays Miguel Prado, a senior Assistant District Attorney who becomes a killer after the tragic death of his younger brother. Dexter taught him the Code but later killed him after breaking it.
PEACOCK's CRYSTAL LAKE
- Linda Cardellini will star in the upcoming Friday the 13th prequel series developed by Brad Caleb Kane. She currently stars in Netflix's No Good Deed, which is awaiting word on its future. She previously starred for six seasons in NBC's ER, three seasons in Netflix's Bloodline and three seasons in Netflix's Dead to Me.
- She will play Pamela Voorhees, a mother who had given up a singing career to raise a special needs child. She takes a dark turn when she loses her son. Across all the films in the Friday the 13th franchise, the character has been played by Betsy Palmer, Marilyn Poucher, Paula Shaw and Nana Visitor.
PRIME VIDEO's ELLE
- Tom Everett Scott has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel starring Lexi Minetree. He currently stars in Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty, which returns for its third and final season later this year.
- He will play Wyatt, Elle's (Minetree) father. In the original film, the character was played by James Read.
PARAMOUNT+'s TULSA KING
- Bella Heathcote and James Russo have joined the cast of the dramedy's upcoming third season. Heathcote previously starred for two seasons in CBS All Access' Strange Angel and in the Netflix limited series Pieces of Her. Russo appeared in the 2024 film Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1.
- Heathcote will play the series regular role of Cleo Montague, a Tulsa native born and raised, and the daughter of a distillery owner.
- Russo will recur as "Quiet" Ray Renzetti, one of the mob bosses in New York who is calm and measured.
