Hulu Orders Untitled Drama Created by Liz Meriwether and Starring Emmy Rossum

Hulu has today given a series order to an untitled original drama series loosely inspired by the 1987 film Black Widow. The drama is created by Liz Meriwether (New Girl, The Dropout), with Emmy Rossum (Shameless, Angelyne) in talks to play the lead role.

In the drama, an FBI agent (Rossum) uses the secrets from a female serial killer's past to try and find her.

Meriwether and Rossum will executive produce with Sara Moskowtiz and Ron Bass. 20th Television, Searchlight Television and Composition 8 will produce.
