Netflix has today given a series order to the original limited series Vladimir starring Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz (The Favourite, Dead Ringers). The limited series will run for eight episodes.
As a woman's (Weisz) life unravels, she becomes obsessed with her captivating new colleague. Full of sexy secrets and dark humor, the series is about what happens when a woman goes hellbent to turn her fantasies into reality.
Julia May Jonas and Kate Robin developed the series based on the novel by Jonas. They will executive produce with Weisz, Sharon Horgan, Jason Winer, Stacy Greenberg, Kira Carstensen and Jon Radler. 20th Television, Merman and Small Dog Picture Company will produce.
